Electronics Test Technician

Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Test Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Clearwater, Florida
.

This role involves performing diverse technical tasks related to testing advanced electronics assemblies for space and defense applications, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, and environmental testing. The technician will execute well-defined tests, handle delicate components, and maintain detailed test documentation, supporting team interactions and continuous improvement efforts.

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation of electronic assemblies.
• Setup, program, and operate special test equipment to execute acceptance procedures.
• Conduct dynamic, thermal, and functional testing on various assemblies.
• Maintain detailed test logs and follow detailed test procedures accurately.
• Support environmental testing and system integration activities.
• Assist with equipment and lab maintenance, adhere to safety standards, and standardization protocols.
• Communicate effectively with test technicians and engineers, including daily shift updates.

• Associates, technical degree, or equivalent military training/experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronics discipline.
• Ability to read schematics and follow procedures.
• Experience with guidance and navigation electronics systems and environmental testing is a plus.
• Proficiency with general purpose test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, DMMs, and logic analyzers.
• Ability to generate clear technical documentation and maintain attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including overtime and weekends, as business needs require.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, with prior military service a plus.
