Sales Engineer
Job Summary
Aftermarket Sales Interns support the sales team by assisting with proposals, customer inquiries, and internal coordination for custom water and wastewater treatment systems sold to industrial and commercial clients.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Assist with preparing proposals, budgets, and bid responses.
- Help gather customer requirements and technical information.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams for proposal support.
- Maintain CRM data and track leads and opportunities.
- Assist with market research and customer outreach activities.
- Participate in customer calls, internal handoff meetings, and sales reviews.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Engineering, business, project management, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial systems, or water/wastewater treatment.
- Technical sales in an engineered to order environment.
- Customer engagement and solution development.
- Sales to project handoff and lifecycle visibility.
- This position typically requires standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and performing repetitive motions.
- Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
- The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
- Compliance with company attendance standards. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
