Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of power supplies within the aerospace sector. You will work on challenging projects that require technical expertise and innovation to support Honeywell Aerospace's commitment to advancing aerospace technology.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On‑site / Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires will be onsite M‑F.

In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high‑quality, reliable, and cutting‑edge power supply solutions that enhance aerospace products and systems, contributing to safety, efficiency, and performance in the aerospace industry.

• Develop the design and analysis of power supply systems, ensuring basic efficiency, stability, thermal, and EMI compliance for aerospace applications.
• Create and update schematics, support PBA layout, integration, and power electronic circuits. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in support of systems integration and project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering principles with a focus on power supply design or a related discipline.
• Proven knowledge in circuit fundamentals, simulation, troubleshooting, and hands‑on design/testing applicable to aerospace systems.
• Proficiency in creating electrical schematics, PBA layouts, DC‑DC power supplies, measurement equipment, and tools. Familiarity with EMI, regulatory, and thermal behavior.
• Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in power supply design in aerospace electrical systems or testing.
• Knowledge of aerospace safety regulations and standards.
• Experience with collaborative engineering tools and multidisciplinary team environments.
• Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities specific to aerospace electrical challenges.
