As an Electrical Reliability Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for reliability analysis of designs during testing, evaluating, and improving complex systems for aerospace navigation applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Your role will support the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems, driving innovation and enhancing product performance.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting‑edge aerospace technologies that shape the future of commercial, defense, and space navigation and travel. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft, missiles, rockets, and satellites, contributing to the long life and high reliability of complex systems used on commercial aircraft, defense applications, and in space navigation.

Responsibilities- Evaluation of new designs by Reliability Analysis techniques
- Ensure compliance with product and customer requirements
- Read an electrical schematic and system block diagram and explain how an individual component failure can cause a system failure
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to determine root cause and implement corrective actions (RCCA)
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Track and maintain regular progress on items under test
- Summarize and present findings to customers
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences, or other Engineering
- 6 months of knowledge in electronic circuit design, PCB layout and hardware testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of design principles and methodologies
- Superb math and organization skills
- Experience with system testing and validation
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- A previous internship in Reliability
- Comfortable with schematics and network analysis
- Experience with pursuit of root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading a diverse investigation team
- Customer service or retail experience
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
