Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Test Technician, you will be part of the Aerospace Testing Operations supporting Engineering and Production Testing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Test Technician
Location: Clearwater, FL (Onsite)
Pay Range: $32/hour
What’s the Job?- Conduct tests on aerospace systems and components to evaluate performance and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot systems and components and provide data for Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations.
- Set up, calibrate, test, and repair instruments, assemblies, components, DC circuits, and related equipment.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings and communicate them to key stakeholders.
- Assist with test equipment setup, manage lab equipment inventory, and provide guidance to entry-level test technicians.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot at both system and component levels.
- Proficiency with aerospace testing equipment and software tools, including CIRTS and DEWESOFT.
- Opportunity to support aerospace testing operations and product validation activities.
- Work with engineering teams to solve technical challenges and improve product performance.
- Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis that informs engineering decisions.
- Exposure to aerospace systems, components, and manufacturing test environments.
- Opportunity to provide guidance and support to production test technicians.
