As a Hardware Test Engineer
here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in the development, efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes and test systems, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technology that enhances safety and performance in Aerospace. You will collaborate with both onsite and off-site cross-functional engineering teams, troubleshoot issues and improve test methodologies, present findings about Test System's health status, and aid in production continuity by supporting internal customers.
Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot units to diagnose software, hardware, and test station issues to ensure the functionality and performance of both new and legacy advanced Test Systems to support our fast-paced, high-volume commercial line of Aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement and improve test methodologies
  • Test Systems Integration, Implementation, and Troubleshooting:
    Ensure the functionality of advanced Test Systems, including both hardware and network components.
  • Troubleshoot complex Test Systems and document findings clearly to facilitate future reference and enhancement.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    Present findings on the current health status of the test systems and test processes, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
  • Keep production moving smoothly by supporting internal customers and addressing any interruptions or requirements they may have.
  • Work on proposals to obtain new capital equipment by evaluating needs, creating compelling business cases, and justifying investments

Opportunity is available at various experience levels from Engineer II through Senior Engineer level

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Experience in Test Systems engineering methodologies and tools, including requirements management.
  • Experience with Hardware repair and troubleshooting
  • Experience in systems engineering (or related field)
