Hardware Test Engineer – Inertial Sensors Job Clearwater area,Florida USA,Engineering

Support and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability
Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process
Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes
Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
Provide technical support and training to team members as needed
Train test technicians and maintain or create Test Instructions
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) group
Contribute to projects advancing aerospace navigation, inertial sensing, and hardware systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Experience in a Test Engineering role in aerospace, related, or electrical engineering industries
Background in hardware, electronics, or electrical systems
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments
Experience with calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems
Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications
Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations
Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino
