Responsibilities

As a Hardware Test Engineer, here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will take part in a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and exemplifies a commitment to safety in the aviation industry. In this role, you will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) group, contributing to essential projects that drive the future of aerospace navigation, inertial sensing and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process.
  • Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes.
  • Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
  • Train test technicians and maintain/create Test Instructions.

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Experience in Test Engineering role, in aerospace, related or electrical engineering industries.
  • Background in hardware, electronics or electrical systems.

  • Experience with some of following is of value :
    • Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments.
    • Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems is of value.
    • Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications.
    • Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
    • Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations.
    • Familiarity with additional programming languages and software tools including Python, C++, and Arduino.
