As a Test Technician
- Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing complex testing and troubleshooting of aerospace systems and components to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. You will utilize your technical expertise to support product development and maintain operational excellence in our testing processes.
You will report directly to our Operations Supervisor and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the Aerospace Technology business unit by ensuring the reliability and safety of our aerospace products through rigorous testing and validation. Your work will contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge aerospace technologies and help maintain Honeywell's reputation for quality and innovation.
Shift:Friday - Sunday, 6:00pm - 6:30am
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct detailed testing and analysis of aerospace components and systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during testing phases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test procedures and enhance product quality.
- Document test results accurately and maintain test equipment in optimal condition.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace testing or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace test equipment and procedures, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex aerospace systems and identifying root causes of failures.
- Experience with test data acquisition systems and software tools used in aerospace testing environments.
- Ability to maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Aerospace Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with automated test systems and scripting languages to enhance test processes.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in performing test activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
