ResponsibilitiesAs a Hardware Test Engineer, here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will take part in a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and exemplifies a commitment to safety in the aviation industry. In this role, you will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) group, contributing to essential projects that drive the future of aerospace navigation, inertial sensing and hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process.
- Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes.
- Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
- Train test technicians and maintain/create Test Instructions.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Experience in Test Engineering role, in aerospace, related or electrical engineering industries.
- Background in hardware, electronics or electrical systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with some of following is of value:
- Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments.
- Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems is of value.
- Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications.
- Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
- Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages and software tools including Python, C++, and Arduino.
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
