Responsibilities

As a Sr Advanced Hardware / Software Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in supporting jump networks, diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, and maintaining the GPS signal distribution network to ensure continuous operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is prepared to provide technical support, including occasional after-hours calls.

You will join a team that is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability for Navigation, GPS, Inertial Sensing and hardware systems. At Honeywell Aerospace, we are a leading technology provider in the aerospace industry, specializing in innovative hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain jump networks, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware components to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the operation of GPS networks, ensuring consistent service availability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement software solutions that enhance system capabilities.
  • Provide technical support for products in a fast‑paced defense industry context.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations, including occasional weekends and nights as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong understanding of software development and integration methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a high‑volume work environment, including occasional after‑hours support.
We Value
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with GPS technologies and network management is of value
  • Familiarity with Inertial Navigation Systems is of value.
