Electrical Engineer

• Provide engineering and design support for sales and operations.
• Assist in the design and development of equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation in accordance with sales proposals, performance requirements, and specifications.
• Research and review project requirements and design information to determine sufficiency and feasibility.
• Design control systems based on customer specifications.
• Assist with preparation of engineering documents.
• Communicate with the project team to establish essential functions and deadlines.
• Create designs and drawings using customized CADD templates, standard templates, or existing CAD files.
• Analyze reports, drawings, and tests to plan and design projects.
• Complete designs according to project documents and Scope of Work.
• Correct existing drawings following the quality review process.
• Review drawings and documents for alignment with scoping and corporate standards.
• Assist the sales team with scope and estimates for proposals.
• Perform inspection and surveillance duties associated with outsourced electrical procurement.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned.

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Prefer 3-5 years’ experience designing industrial control equipment
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience designing control panels based on relay or PLC control.
• Experience writing PLC control logic is a plus.
• Knowledge of plant process control and monitoring is a plus.
• Working knowledge of related codes and standards, including IEC, NEC and NFPA.
• Proficiency in technical writing required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional, team environment
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
• Ability to perform keying/typing, sitting, standing, and walking, with constant mental and/or visual attention in an office environment.

Demonstrates expertise in electrical engineering with a focus on designing industrial control equipment and creating technical documentation. Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in relevant codes and standards, ensuring compliance and quality in engineering projects.
