Financial Analyst II

📍 Clearwater | 🕒 Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4:30pm | 💼 Exempt | Hybrid

• Work independently within your area of responsibility, with periodic interaction across all levels of management
• Conduct research on moderately complex financial and accounting topics
• Serve as the financial representative for moderately to highly complex clinical or business service lines
• Prepare and enhance processes for financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
• Facilitate and analyze data for operating and capital budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of regulatory reporting
• Ensure compliance with capital asset management policies
• Coordinate charge master services
• Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks
• Begin developing leadership skills by participating in and leading low‑to‑moderate complexity projects within the Finance Division

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum 2 years in Accounting; OR
• Minimum 2 years in Finance‑related roles; OR
• Minimum 3 years in a related field

• High‑level understanding of EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) functions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

• CPA certification (Accounting)
• Grant accounting experience
