Position SummaryThe Director, Corporate Finance is a senior finance team member responsible for overseeing company‑wide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, operational performance management, and corporate finance support. This role serves as a strategic partner to the CFO and senior leadership team, translating financial data into actionable operational insights while building scalable financial infrastructure to support growth.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis- Own company‑wide financial reporting and analysis, including:
- Monthly financial packages, including aircraft‑specific financial results models
- Own actual vs. budget performance tracking models, particularly for aircraft‑level financial performance, supporting internal stakeholders and client‑facing teams.
- MD&A commentary preparation (institute process)
- Initiative tracking and performance reporting
- Monthly financial packages, including aircraft‑specific financial results models
- Lead all consolidated forward‑looking financial processes, including:
- Annual budget (own)
- Rolling forecasts (implement)
- Consolidated three‑statement financial models (own & maintain)
- Ownership models (own & maintain; strong interaction with client‑facing team)
- Maintain, and enhance financial models used in owner pitch materials and client‑facing presentations.
- Ensure all client‑facing budget materials receive finance sign‑off and are complete, accurate, and consistent with internally sourced data/trends.
- Design and/or enhance various financial reporting decks and operational dashboards.
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc financial analysis to support the monthly close and ongoing business decision‑making.
- Establish reporting cadence and operational performance review structure in partnership with the CFO and Controller to evaluate:
- Financial performance
- KPI trends
- Margin drivers
- Cost controls
- Value creation initiative progress
- Partner cross‑functionally with Off‑Fleet Charter, On‑Fleet Operations, Maintenance (MX), and other functional leaders to drive financial accountability and performance improvement.
- Analyze cost structures and margin performance at the aircraft, program, and entity levels.
- Identify and lead value creation initiatives, working directly with operational leaders to implement measurable improvements.
- Develop and track operational KPIs, including utilization, maintenance expense trends, labor efficiency, vendor performance, and profitability by program.
- Support pricing analysis and margin modeling for new owner agreements, fractional programs, and other structures.
- Provide financial analysis to support capital allocation decisions, including aircraft acquisitions, lease decisions, and major maintenance events.
- Assist in working capital analysis, expense management initiatives, and financial process optimization (such as invoicing).
- Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems, reporting platforms, and automation tools (e.g., ERP, Power BI, RAMP).
- Serve as finance point person (administrative oversight) for insurance matters, coordinating between broker, AMS, and internal finance.
- Assist the CFO in construction, negotiation, and maintenance of commercial contracts, including:
- Owner agreements
- Fractional program documentation
- Lease agreements
- Vendor agreements
- Support financial due diligence, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis for strategic initiatives.
- Assist the CFO in enterprise‑wide performance improvement planning and execution.
- Participate in special projects and additional initiatives as assigned.
- Minimum 5‑7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, corporate finance, FP&A, or controllership roles.
