About This Role

The Legal & Compliance Support Intern will deliver a range of support services in the area of legal and compliance at a Federal Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Legal & Compliance team, conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Monitor regulatory updates and prepare brief summaries for the team
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to compliance and risk mitigation discussions
  • Draft internal memoranda, correspondence, and other documentation as needed
Who You Are
  • Coursework or background in finance, business law or related fields
  • Familiarity with secured transactions, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and interact with senior leaders

Hours: 8-24 hours per week.

Schedule: Monday – Wednesday 8:15am-5:00pm.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $20.86 - 23.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.

In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
