Research Analyst

Role Summary

Severin Investments is a wealth management firm that specializes in investment management. We actively manage several model portfolios for private clients, financial advisors, and retirement plans. Our firm also provides comprehensive retirement planning and estate planning services.

We are seeking a motivated Analyst/Trader with a strong analytical foundation and practical market experience. The ideal candidate will hold a CFA Level I designation and have 2+ years of experience in the investment or financial services industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to portfolio decisions, trading execution, and market research in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

• Conduct research and analysis on equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes.
• Support portfolio managers with data-driven insights and trade ideas.
• Execute trades and monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
• Track macroeconomic and market developments to identify investment opportunities.
• Contribute to internal investment discussions and strategy development.
• Maintain GIPS composites

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in trading, investment analysis, or asset management.
• Series 65 or 66 license
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and portfolio management concepts
• Proficiency in Excel, S&P CapIQ, and financial modeling.
