Program Controls Specialist IV

As a Program Controls Specialist IV here at Honeywell, you will lead the development and management of program baselines, cost reporting, and schedule integration for high-risk development programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate cost and schedule control, supporting program stakeholders with reliable data and analysis, and driving compliance with earned value management standards.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution of complex programs by providing expert cost and schedule management, leading audit preparations, and mentoring team members to uphold Honeywell’s standards of operational excellence and compliance.

• Lead in the development of initial program baselines (cost or schedule) for high-risk development programs.
• Prepare and analyze reliable cost report data for program stakeholders.
• Manage EAC (estimate at completion) on complex programs.
• Perform reliable program cost-walk and cost analysis for program stakeholders.
• Lead compliant baseline change management.
• Ensure cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirements.
• Lead program team through internal and external earned value audit preparation and execution.
• Proactively and effectively communicate with program team and customers.
• Identify root cause, perform impact analysis, recommend corrective actions, and support variance analysis.
• Actively support CAMs in monthly cost and schedule reviews and drive accurate EACs and variance analysis.
• Initiate and participate in organizational and program process improvements.
• Mentor other team members.

• 6+ years of experience in EVM (Earned Value Management) and external cost or schedule reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• US citizenship status (required due to export control regulations).

• Degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Security clearance.
• Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
• User experience with SAP system.
• Experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management.
• Project Management certification.
• Experience with Cost Reporting Generation: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR.
• Experience with External Integrated Master Schedule Reporting:
  Microsoft Project, SSI Tool.
