Job SummaryThe Corporate Accountant provides guidance on financial processes, accounting standards, and business operations as well as prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles. This role supports leadership, finance teams, and clients by offering insights that improve financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and enhance overall business performance.
Primary Responsibilities- Keeps records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities.
- Reviews financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams or external clients on accounting‑related questions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as finance, operations, and compliance.
- Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
- High School diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. - 4 to 6+ years of experience in accounting, consulting, or corporate finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software Net Suite preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analyzing information.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable.
