Overview

As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key person in supporting the financial function for Stella Power Co. This is an opportunity to help build our operations from the ground up including model development, operational tools, investor presentations, and financial reporting.

Position can be in Houston, Texas or Clearwater, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the financial operations of the company.
  • Prepare investor and management materials with supporting analysis.
  • Conduct counter party and credit analysis to determine requirements for transactions.
  • Perform analysis needed for the origination and execution of commercial agreements, including PPAs, capacity contracts, and fuel/power arrangements.
  • Serve as key liaison to external partners for preparation of budgets and other financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Financial experience ideally in power generation, energy infrastructure, or industrial services.
  • Financial acumen and experience in building financial models.
  • Deep technical skills in MS Excel and ability to develop management presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across technical, commercial, and investor audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
Preferred Requirements
  • Understanding of distributed generation technologies, microgrids, project finance, and energy markets.
  • Regulated and deregulated markets for power and natural gas.
  • Programming expertise.
  • Experience working with institutional investors, and external stakeholders in high-growth or PE/VC-backed environments.
