Medical Aesthetician

Skinspirations is an aesthetic medical practice with a reputation for excellence in customer service and results. We help people look and feel their best by providing an extensive array of physician-level, non-surgical esthetic and regenerative services, including laser resurfacing, aesthetic injectables, advanced skin care services, & hormone optimization.

We are seeking an esthetician who is an expert in medical-level skincare and 5-star customer service, to work Mondays and Fridays from 10 AM - 6 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM - 2 PM.

Requirements for this esthetician position include:

• At least six months of experience performing microneedling, IPL photofacials, VI Peels, dermaplaning, & Hydrafacials.
• Experience working with up to 30% trichloroacetic acid peels and physician-strength ingredients.
• Proven proficiency in client acquisition efforts, including social media.
• An advanced knowledge of the skin's physiology for designing the most effective, personalized, and comprehensive in-office and at-home professional skincare plans.
• Computer and software skills, including proficiency with video consultations, internet research, operating system navigation, word processing, file management, and basic desktop troubleshooting.
• A collaborative personality with a team mentality and a passion for providing every patient with a 5-star experience
• A dedication to continuing education so that you can provide better results for clients than they can acheive elsewhere.
• Knowledge of Skin Medica, Obagi, Revision, and Glo Professional product lines.
• Exemplary customer service and complaint-handling skills
• Ability to provide maximum productivity with minimal supervision
• Excellent, consistent phone etiquette, grammar, and spelling
• Punctuality, reliability, and a history of remaining in at least one previous position for at least 2 years
• Your current residence is located less than 20 miles from our location.
• Availability possible within 2 weeks.

Preferred but not required assets are:

• Permanent makeup/cosmetic tattoo license with at least 1 year of experience(we are a licensed tattoo practice)
• Proficiency using the Cool Sculpting Advantage device

Esthetician job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing customized skincare treatment plans and performing all of our current skincare services with our current devices.
• Assisting at the front desk and in exam rooms when not with clients
• Laundering your own patient linens.
• Organizing and maintaining our makeup & skincare product areas
• Maintaining product and supply inventory.
• Participating in and planning patient events.
• Comparison shopping to find the most effective but least expensive back bar products.
• Cleaning and sterilizing tools.
• Communicating with patients after treatments and answering all incoming skincare questions.
• Maintaining an impeccably clean & organized skincare room.

Pay:

Pay is based on a combination of an hourly wage from $19/hr to $24/hr plus service and product commissions. Skinspirations is a medical practice, and therefore, tips are not allowed.

Part-time benefits include treatment and product discounts after the first 90 days of employment.
