WorkEnvironment
Our rehabilitation facility in Clearwater offers a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who share a commitment to high-quality patient care. The center is open Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work schedule. As a PT, you will have the resources and support needed to thrive and grow within our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history and performing specific assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement treatment protocols that are evidence-based and adapted to the patient's condition and needs, ensuring alignment with the latest healthcare practices.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including focused evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries to clearly outline the patient's rehabilitation journey.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment and support.
Participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions to share insights, progress updates, and strategies aimed at maximizing patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as corporate policies by completing all required training and adhering to established protocols.
Your role will focus on a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will evaluate and treat individuals across various ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship to encourage optimal recovery.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in physical therapy or a related field. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
Current licensure in the state of Florida, as required.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
While a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required, candidates with additional experience in inpatient rehabilitation or specializing in orthopedic care are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and rehabilitation technology will be a plus.
