Work Environment

This physical therapist position is situated onsite in Clearwater, Florida, an area known for its vibrant community and scenic coastal environment. You will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility surrounded by a team that values collaboration and innovation. The work week consists of generally 40 hours with variable weekends, allowing for flexibility while ensuring optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to craft individualized treatment plans based on functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement and modify treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote optimal recovery and mobility.
  • Effectively educate patients and their families about treatment processes and techniques, empowering them to participate actively in their own healing journey.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and billing charge submissions, adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Foster excellent communication among interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and referral sources, to ensure comprehensive patient care continuity.
  • Participate in community engagement efforts and marketing initiatives that promote physical therapy services and showcase patient success stories.
  • Mentor and supervise assigned support staff, enhancing their skills while streamlining department operations.
  • Continuously update clinical skills by participating in in-service training, continuing education courses, and through self-directed study.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes to elderly individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid state license in Physical Therapy and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory.
