American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years experience and travel experience

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 599 staffed beds
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, rotablator atherectomy, Impella insertion, ASD closures, and temporary pacemaker placement
• Also performs vascular studies including carotid stenting, IVC filter placement, and neurological procedures such as thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with variable days
• On-call requirement
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Preferred experience with Philips Imaging Equipment, Philips Xper, and Manifold (training opportunity available if no experience)
• Red scrub color required
• Must be willing to float within the assigned hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab/EP procedures
• Travel experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT (R) and/or CCI RCIS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Active Florida or Compact license required at time of consideration
• Community Hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Skills required include accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, room circulator duties, and sterile field maintenance
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Perform a full range of cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures, including coil embolization and complex peripheral/CTO interventions
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility unless exempted by specialty
• RTO cannot be guaranteed in the contract but will be honored if cleared with the manager during interview
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Must pass an EKG exam prior to start (maximum 3 attempts)
• Compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date
• Block scheduling may be considered depending on facility need, to be discussed with the manager
