The Agency for Health Care Administration seeks a Senior Human Services Program Specialist to support the Florida Medicaid Program through provider enrollment reviews and compliance verification. Based in the Bureau of Medicaid Provider Services, this role conducts on-site reviews of new and re-enrolling Medicaid providers, verifies credentials and business information, resolves provider-related issues, and represents the agency at community partnerships and events.
The position requires travel and is not remote.
- Two years of experience providing professional-level customer service in a fast-paced, consumer-centric environment
- Knowledge of Medicaid policies, procedures, and arena
- Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations and utilize problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Word with strong typing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and provide training
