Employee Relations Manager - HR

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and professional beauty industry, is seeking a Employee Relations Manager - HR to join their team. As a Employee Relations Manager - HR, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting the Employee Relations team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Partner with regional HR Business Partners and line managers to provide expert coaching on progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
• Develop and deliver training programs for managers focused on leading with empathy, effective documentation, and labor law compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ER issues, providing balanced perspectives that mitigate risk while supporting business objectives.
• Evaluate current ER intake and investigation processes to identify bottlenecks; design and implement streamlined, scalable workflows.
• Conduct thorough, objective investigations into high-level or sensitive complaints.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations or Labor Relations in a national or multi-state capacity.
• Exceptional ability to navigate sensitive conversations with neutrality and empathy.
• Influential verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to leadership.
• Proven project management skills with experience leading process improvement initiatives from conception to execution.
• Experience in retail or the professional beauty industry is highly desirable.
