SNI Companies has immediate openings for Payroll Specialists in Clearwater, Florida!

  • Hybrid- role must be able to work 3 days in the office
  • Monday
    - Friday 8am-5pm
  • Pay Rate: $26-$30 plus $650 healthcare monthly allowance + benefits!
MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF ADP WORKFORCE AND HIGH VOLUME PAYROLL WITH MULTISTATE EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for processing of weekly/bi-monthly payrolls into ADP WORKFORCE payroll software, including processing of new hires, terminations, transfers, and any other payroll status changes.
  • Collect weekly time sheets and calculate employee hours paid.
  • Prepare general ledger entries related to payroll.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Ensure that pay practices are in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and other applicable wage and hour regulations.
  • Maintain ADP database for employee changes (names, addresses, W-4 information, with holdings, etc.) Perform maintenance and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Performs benefits administration to include employee status changes, updates and reporting.
  • Assist HR department with administrative, operational tasks and ad-hoc projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce and generating payroll reports
  • Paylocity and Prism are a plus
  • Benefits Administration experience required.
  • Must have high volume processing experience 750 EE's
  • Must have multi-state experience
  • Familiarity with state and federal laws required.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization is essential.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow up, and meet deadlines needed.
  • Good problem solving, analytical, and math skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize, and respond to changing needs as they arise.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team environment with minimal supervision and a sense of urgency.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities to meet the needs of the business.
