The IT – Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions that align with Ameri Life’s strategic goals. This role will serve as a key technical contributor within the IT Applications & Architecture team, responsible for defining architectural standards, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems across the organization.

**** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions across multiple platforms and business domains.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
* Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes.
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to support innovation and efficiency.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
* Oversee solution integration, data flow, and system interoperability across Ameri Life’s technology ecosystem.
* Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
* Partner with infrastructure, security, and Dev Ops teams to support deployment and operational readiness.
* Drive continuous improvement in solution delivery and architecture maturity.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in solutions architecture or technical leadership role.
* Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions, including large-scale web applications or internet portals
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, APIs, and modern development frameworks.
* Experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, Portals, and data platforms.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
