Systems Engineer - Intern

Equitus is seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Systems Engineer - Intern at our offices located in Clearwater, FL. • Provides first‑line support for software and hardware.
• Performs day‑to‑day maintenance of network servers (backups, administration, hardware maintenance).
• Works with the IT Director in designing technical systems and execution.
• Diagnoses and resolves technical problems, prevents problem escalation, and provides solutions.
• Works in a mixed virtualized environment.
• Responds to internal help desk tickets.
• Provides technical assistance for questions and problems with follow‑up.
• Troubleshoots internal network issues.
• Installs software and updates hardware as necessary.
• Creates and maintains documentation related to domain and system administration.
• Creates and deletes user accounts.

• Office 365 experience preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent a plus.
• VMWare/Hyper‑V experience a plus.
