Buyer​/Planner

Position:
Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Professional at CARR Biosystems.

• Strategic Planning and Forecasting – Analyze demand forecasts, execute material requirements planning, perform capacity planning, contribute to SIOP, and manage product life cycles.
• Procurement and Supplier Management – Execute strategic sourcing, negotiate terms and agreements, manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risk.
• Inventory and Operational Excellence – Optimize inventory levels, address excess and obsolete stock, schedule production work orders, resolve procurement discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Data Integrity and Communication – Maintain master data, expedite or de‑expedite orders, track KPI performance, facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, and communicate proactive status updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Infor XA, EPDM, etc.), quality systems, and Lean Six Sigma or equivalent discipline.
• Certifications:
  
  CSCP, CSCMP, CPIM, or similar preferred; APICS or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.

Office‑based with occasional on‑site visits. The role may require extended hours and up to 10% travel. Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting up to 35lbs.
