Supply Chain Director - Food & Beverage Industry

We're looking for a Director of Supply Chain to own how our supply chain — sourcing, procurement, and logistics — drives profitability, compliance, and scalability. We are specifically looking for someone who brings strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement within the food and beverage industry that possesses strong knowledge about FDA and USDA regulation. You should also have a background building and developing teams.

You'll define end-to-end supply chain strategy, build and lead procurement and logistics teams, and partner directly with operations and manufacturing leadership to ensure the right materials flow from global suppliers through our facilities to customers at the right cost, at the right time — with zero compromise on regulatory compliance or quality.

• Define and own the end-to-end supply chain strategy — from global sourcing through production to fulfillment — translating business growth objectives into procurement, logistics, and distribution priorities
• Establish KPIs and accountability structures for supply chain performance across quality, cost, compliance, delivery, and fulfillment metrics
• Build the global sourcing and procurement strategy that supports manufacturing while optimizing the logistics network for cost efficiency and customer delivery speed

• Manage and develop your team, creating clarity on ownership, accountability, and career growth
• Oversee distribution center operations and logistics execution, ensuring fulfillment standards are met and inventory is optimized
• Partner closely with the Head of Operations and Manufacturing Lead to align supply chain priorities with production capacity, demand forecasting, and fulfillment needs
• Mentor your team to take initiative on supplier negotiations, carrier management, compliance workflows, and continuous improvement

• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers globally, ensuring full compliance with USDA, FDA, cGMP, and HACCP standards at every step
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and volume terms with suppliers — driving favorable outcomes without compromising quality, compliance, or relationships
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships; evaluate performance against quality, reliability, and compliance benchmarks on a regular cadence
• Manage vendor approval processes, audits, certificates of analysis (COAs), and regulatory documentation with rigor and consistency
• Oversee international import/export activity and customs compliance to keep global supplier networks running smoothly

• Own the distribution center strategy and operations — managing fulfillment, inventory allocation, and order accuracy to support customer experience and profitability
• Build and optimize the logistics network; select carriers and manage freight strategies to balance cost efficiency with delivery speed and reliability
• Establish fulfillment SLAs and KPIs; monitor on-time delivery, fulfillment accuracy, and cost per order; drive continuous improvement
• Drive logistics cost reduction initiatives — negotiating carrier rates, optimizing shipping zones and methods, and improving warehouse productivity

• Drive cost reduction initiatives across the entire supply chain — sourcing, procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations — without sacrificing quality, compliance, or delivery
• Own demand forecasting and inventory management; partner cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure supply continuity and fulfillment readiness
• Utilize ERP systems and data tools for analysis, reporting, and decision-making; own variance reporting and trend analysis for budgets, inventory, and logistics spend
• Establish standard operating procedures for sourcing, procurement, logistics, and compliance — creating structure and scalability as we grow
