Maintenance Assistant; Night Shift

Grand Villa of Clearwater is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and safety of our community, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of property maintenance.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs around the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
• Conduct inspections of common areas and resident units to identify and address maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
• Assist with setup and breakdown for community events and activities
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance tasks

• Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends as required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
