Corporate is looking for a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Technician worker.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and overall upkeep of our facility. This role includes a wide range of tasks such as general maintenance, possible light landscaping, safety compliance, facility upkeep, and support for shop building and production. This position relies on strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.

• General Maintenance
  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, light electrical, HVA, and painting work.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems such as heating, cooling, and lighting to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Quickly respond to repair calls and perform necessary fixes to maintain safety and facility function.
• Facility Upkeep
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a clear environment.
  • Handle the disposal of rubbish and recyclables appropriately.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Regularly inspect fire alarms, safety equipment, and other essential systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify and report any potential safety issues within the facility.
• Maintain outdoor areas by trimming bushes, planting flowers and trees, and removing weeds.
• Handle leaf and debris removal, ensuring pathways and driveways are clear and safe.
• Ensure doors and awnings are clean and free from bugs and cobwebs.
• Shop Building and Production Support
  • Ensure all shop equipment and tools are in good working condition and ready for use.
  • Handle and or help organize light builds and redesign of studio sets and offices.
  • Provide support in production activities or other shop tasks when necessary.
• Coordination and Communication
  • Work with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance that cannot be handled in-house.
  • Liaise with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including work completed and any required follow-up actions.
• Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for events and meetings.
• Keep track of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they are accounted for and in working condition.
