Maintenance Assistant - Full Time

Grand Villa of Clearwater is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and safety of our community, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs around the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems

- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff

- Conduct inspections of common areas and resident units to identify and address maintenance issues

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders

- Assist with setup and breakdown for community events and activities

- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance tasks

Skills and

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

- Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends as required

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
