: 1st 5:00am - 3:30pm; 2nd 3:00pm - 01:00am

• The shift Supervisor must be an experienced CNC Machinist to run jobs on CNC Lathes and Mills. Working with aluminum, some plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
• Responsible for production volume and output quality of the first shift. Must have strong knowledge in machine set ups in order to train, supervise and fill in where needed.
• Supervise the operators: select jobs and machine assignments; train operators to perform their duties where machine operation and quality are concerned.
• Solve problems when needed with program edits, fast/speed changes and quality issues; make G and M Code adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Keep machine setup times to a minimum and production to acceptable output levels.
• Operators may assist in machine setups when two or more machines are down at the same time.
• Work with the CNC Programmer on improvements to programs.
• Train operators on machine setups when they have shown proficiency in operating their machine and successfully run quality parts.
• Perform basic routine maintenance of machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs).
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and keeping company records.
• Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience using aluminum.
• Experience as a Supervisor, able to train and guide a small team.
• Fluent in Y Lathes with live tooling and CNC Mills.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and metric to imperial conversions.
• Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading.
• Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred, OSHA 10-hour is minimum requirement.
• Forklift Certification is preferred; re-certification is acceptable if there is prior experience.

Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 10 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time. The station has anti-fatigue mats and stools available when needed.
