Parts Associate

Job Overview

The Parts Associate will be responsible for managing and organizing parts inventory, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This role does not involve direct customer interaction, but does involve vendor interaction by placing orders, and exchanges/returns/cores.

• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts and supplies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records of parts going to the shop.
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to ensure adequate supply.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect parts for quality and report any discrepancies or defects.
• Warehouse Organization: Ensure parts are stored in an orderly and accessible manner while keeping the parts department clean.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and technicians.

• Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of heavy‑duty trucks, construction equipment, hydraulics, or garbage bodies is a plus. Ability to drive a forklift. 1 year or more of automotive or diesel parts experience.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy parts and supplies as needed.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
