Material Handler
As a Material Handler - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the supply chain operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. Your efforts will ensure the smooth flow of materials to meet production schedules and customer demands efficiently.
You will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On‑site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of the supply chain by ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production and shipping activities within the Aerospace business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies according to company standards.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment to internal departments or external customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to support timely delivery and production schedules.
- Experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and material handling equipment operation.
- Ability to accurately track and manage inventory using warehouse management systems or ERP tools.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance related to material storage and movement.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing environments.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting purposes.
