Quality Assurance - QA/QC
In this hands‑on role, you will support incoming material inspection to ensure products meet basic quality and documentation requirements. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, verify paperwork, and maintain accurate records in quality systems.
The position is located in Clearwater, a facility with OSHAS’s highest safety rating, where you will work with a diverse team of 400+ employees and support systems that manage the performance of commercial and military aircraft.
Responsibilities- Perform incoming inspections on electrical and mechanical components for visible damage, defects, or non‑conformance.
- Verify basic quality documentation such as Certificates of Conformance and packing slips.
- Accurately document inspection results in quality systems and spreadsheets.
- Maintain material traceability by scanning documents, labeling parts, and organizing inspection records.
- Safely handle and move materials up to 20 lbs, following safety and ESD requirements.
- Communicate inspection issues to supervisor or Quality team for follow‑up.
- Learn to use internal systems such as TIPQA, Oracle (ERP) or document tools.
- Support discrepancy‑resolution processes under guidance.
- Gain exposure to basic quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Complete required training, including J‑STD certification within 30 days.
- Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts or receiving support activities as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read basic technical instructions, drawings, or work instructions.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
- Basic computer skills (data entry, navigating systems, scanning documents).
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction.
- Ability to lift/move materials up to 20 pounds.
- At least 18 years of age.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, receiving, or quality inspection.
- Exposure to quality systems, ERP systems, or inventory tools.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanical parts, or assembly work.
- Prior experience in a fast‑paced or regulated environment.
- Soldering experience or interest in learning.
- Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
- Follows safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintains a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Communicates clearly with team members and leadership.
