Sr Engineering Technician 2nd Shift

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician 2nd Shift for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. This role supports hands-on testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronic assemblies to ensure performance and reliability.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Engineering Technician 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform dynamic, thermal, and functional testing on advanced electronic assemblies to validate performance and reliability.
• Set up, program, and operate specialized and general-purpose test equipment for acceptance and development testing.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults using schematics, technical procedures, and diagnostic tools.
• Execute system integration and environmental tests while maintaining detailed and accurate test logs and documentation.
• Follow strict procedures, safety standards, and maintain lab cleanliness, equipment, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians, communicate test results effectively, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent military training/experience in electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an electronics or testing discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience using general-purpose test equipment and performing electronic testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, follow detailed procedures, perform environmental and functional testing, and produce precise technical documentation with strong attention to detail.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
