Process Engineer III - Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Objective:

Responsible for driving operational excellence through process optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

* Analyze current manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve cycle times.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).

* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

* Improve process capability, yield, and first-pass quality.

* Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control plans.

* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, downtime, and productivity metrics.

* Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement sustainable improvements

* Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and layout optimization initiatives.

* Train and coach operators and supervisors on best manufacturing practices and continuous improvement tools.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.

* Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Principals (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).

* Demonstrated success implementing measurable process improvements that increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved quality.

* Strong background in root cause analysis, data-driven problem solving, and statistical process control (SPC).
