CAM Drive Machine Operator Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Spindle Machinist – CAM Driven to set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex CAM-driven screw machines producing high-precision components. This role requires deep hands‑on experience with multi‑spindle equipment, strong blueprint interpretation, and a commitment to producing nothing but quality parts.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and adjust CAM-driven multi‑spindle screw machines (Euroturn and Davenport) to produce precision metal components.
- Perform complex changeovers, tooling adjustments, and process optimization.
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and production instructions to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues independently.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Demonstrate deliberate attention to quality and strong work ethic in all tasks.
- Previous experience with multi‑spindle CAM Driven screw machines (Euroturn, Davenport, or similar preferred).
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T comprehension.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precise measurement and inspection.
