Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Clearwater. This position involves inspecting very small connectors, cables, harnesses, and precision components using microscopes, measuring tools, and testing equipment.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInspect small connectors, cables, harnesses, and components for quality and compliance with specifications and standards
Accept or reject products, materials, or articles based on inspection results
Identify and document non-conformances and notify appropriate personnel of potential quality concerns
Perform visual inspections using microscopes and precision measuring tools
Conduct continuity and/or resistance testing on cables, harnesses, and connectors
Complete inspection reports, logs, and production tracking documentation accurately
Record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and related data into company databases
Perform basic mathematical calculations including dimensional measurements, torque conversions, and weight measurements
Maintain measuring equipment to ensure proper calibration and accurate operation
Communicate discrepancies and quality concerns to supervision and management
Follow all company safety standards and procedures
Track daily job progress and deficiencies in both written and electronic formats

Qualifications & RequirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with very small parts and connectors
Comfortable using microscopes, calipers, measuring tools, and testing equipment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions accurately
Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Preferred QualificationsPrevious quality assurance or quality control experience in manufacturing or electronics
IPC Certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or J-STD-001
Experience inspecting miniature electronic or mechanical components
Flexibility to work varied shifts during surge production periods
