What You Will Do
- Own and optimize production workflows from engineering release through assembly and test
- Translate custom designs into structured, executable manufacturing processes
- Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement across a high-mix, low-volume environment
- Lead process development for new products and support ongoing production execution
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, variability, and inefficiencies in real time
- Specify and implement tooling, equipment, and automation solutions
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Bring structure, discipline, and accountability to production systems
- A hands‑on engineer who understands both systems and execution
- Proven experience in manufacturing, preferably in ETO or high‑mix environments
- Strong process engineering and industrial engineering capability
- Ability to lead through influence and build trust on the production floor

Job SummaryThe Production / Industrial Engineer is responsible for architecting, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing systems that enable efficient, scalable, and high‑quality production across a dynamic, high‑mix environment. This role serves as the critical bridge between engineering design and production floor execution, ensuring that custom and standard products are translated into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
Operating across process engineering, industrial engineering, and production support functions, the position drives workflow design, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting new product introduction, capital investment decisions, and enterprise‑level operational transformation. The engineer provides technical leadership in process standardization, manufacturability, and system capability, while maintaining close engagement with production teams to ensure practical, real‑world execution.
