This role focuses on "second operations"-the crucial finishing and post-machining stages that ensure every precision part meets exact tolerances before shipping. We are looking for a true "doer" who loves working with their hands, possesses high mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in a job well done.

Your Daily Impact (Key Responsibilities)

  • Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments-such as micrometers, calipers, and specialized gauges-to verify that all finished parts meet strict blueprint specifications.
  • Hand Tool Operation: Safely and effectively utilize a variety of hand tools, air tools, and shop equipment to modify, smooth, and perfect machined parts.
  • Production Support: Work efficiently alongside the primary machining team to keep production schedules moving on the second shift.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and strictly adhere to all facility safety protocols.
What You Bring to the Team (Requirements)

  • Measurement Literacy: Proven ability to accurately read and interpret calipers, micrometers, and various types of measuring gauges.
  • Professional Reliability: A strong work ethic paired with a consistent, reliable work history that shows dedication to your past roles.
  • Screening: All candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $18.00
