Position: 1000-Trim Coil Machine Operator

Description

The Trim Coil Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the trim coil production line to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, quality inspections, material handling, and maintaining production standards while supporting overall manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor trim coil production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor production output and identify quality or operational issues.
  • Load and unload coils and materials for production.
  • Complete production reports, quality checks, and required documentation.
  • Assist with inventory control, material movement, and production support activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and measurement tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
