About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Production Test Technician III to support production testing in Clearwater, FL. This role reports to the Manufacturing Test Manager and focuses on ensuring production meets shipment goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide test and problem‑solving skills to meet monthly and weekly shipment goals.
  • Participate in production status meetings to address forecast variances and recommend actions to the Test Manager.
  • Brief the production/test manager and manufacturing engineer on training, tool, equipment, and documentation issues affecting compliance and order completion.
  • Assist in onboarding and training of temporary and permanent technician staff as directed.
  • Ensure integration and test processes conform to released documentation and provide input on metrics for efficiency improvement.
  • Use data and lean manufacturing principles to work with managers and engineers to increase throughput and reduce costs.
  • Perform scheduled in‑house maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to equipment.
  • Apply in‑depth knowledge of RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, power meters, function generators) to test, troubleshoot, and tune RF, analog, and digital circuits.
  • Use RF test and alignment techniques to prepare products for weekly and monthly shipments.
  • Mentor and train other technicians when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and may work outside the plant as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the integration and test of complex digital/microwave hardware.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • A‑S degree or military equivalent preferred.
  • Capacity to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Some domestic travel may be required.
  • In‑depth knowledge of X, Ku, and Ka band transceivers.
  • Experience with manual and tab tuning of RF circuits.
  • Proficiency with DMMs, signal generators, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and related RF test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Fluent written and oral English.
  • Ability to comply with all company guidelines, policies, and core values.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret‑level security clearance upon hire as required.
