Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer – Clearwater, FL

Hourly W2 contract position (US citizenship required). Hourly rate range: $30.00–$55.00, based on experience. Limited benefits.

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus minimum 2 years.
• Experience designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for circuit card assemblies (CCA) and module assemblies.
• Cable harness experience and electromechanical subassembly experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory and specification compliance in manufacturing.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering prints and implementing production improvements.

• Design and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
• Interpret engineering prints to design processes and collaborate with design engineering for production improvements.
• Support the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.
• Design, procure, and implement tooling to support manufacturing processes.
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans.
• Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency, investigate issues, and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
• Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
