We are seeking a highly skilled Soldering Technician / Cable Harness Assembler to support production of custom cable assemblies. This role is hands‑on and requires precision, consistency, and a strong understanding of electronics assembly.

The primary responsibilities include cutting and preparing wires, stripping insulation, and soldering connections into a variety of connectors—often in tight or complex configurations. The ideal candidate takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and can maintain consistent standards across production runs.

This is can be a full‑time or part‑time position with flexible hours, ideal for an experienced technician looking for steady, detail‑oriented work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut, strip, and prepare wires to precise specifications
  • Assemble cable harnesses according to drawings and schematics
  • Perform high‑quality soldering on connectors, terminals, and PCBs (including fine/difficult connections)
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and reliability
  • Read and interpret cable drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or connectivity issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow best practices for workmanship and safety standards
Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in soldering and cable/harness assembly (or similar electronics assembly work)
  • Strong soldering skills, including work with small connectors and tight tolerances
  • Experience with wire preparation (cutting, stripping, crimping preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and cable drawings (or strong willingness to learn quickly)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  • Good manual dexterity and steady hand
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620)
  • Experience with aerospace, automotive, or industrial cable assemblies
  • Familiarity with continuity testing and basic electrical test equipment
