(1st Shift, Starting Wage $23.00 + per hour DOE)

Perform planned and laid out work by performing the following duties:

• Maintain all molds, fixtures, and dies used in production.
• Evaluate tooling and report to engineering on damage or excessive wear.
• Assist in mold and machinery setup for production.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for production issues.
• Perform basic maintenance on molding machines, including liquid silicone molding machines.
• Assist in mold validation activities.
• Document mold changes and machine adjustments, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Make technical decisions and communicate with Engineering, Production, and Management to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.
• Generate documentation for mold runs for traceability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following established procedures.
• Follow safe working practices at all times.

Safety Training:
Complete and maintain General Safety Orientation, Hearing Protection training.

High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing or machining experience preferred. Plastic injection molding experience is a plus. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.

Effective communication skills, basic math skills, ability to follow instructions, and problem-solving abilities.

Must be able to talk, hear, sit, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, and smell. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, color, and depth perception.

Exposure to humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise level is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
