Material Handler, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, Forklift Operator
SUMMARY
Ensure the accurate receipt and shipping of material while providing service to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Store materials.
- Utilize Epicor software system.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Issue and return materials.
- Package materials to support outbound activities.
- Support housekeeping activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must complete and maintain Safety Training according to the Safety Training Matrix.
Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to operate Microsoft Windows or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust have a valid driver’s license. Forklift experience preferred.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to peers and management regarding all facets of job responsibilities.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
