Job Overview
Chipton‑Ross is seeking multiple Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Must have a minimum 2 years prior experience visually inspecting solder connections of both surface-mount and plated-thru-hole components in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Must be able to navigate within the IPC standard, and decipher accept/reject criteria.
- Detail-oriented, and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Personal Computers.
- Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when communicating quality defects.
- Must have prior IPC-610 and J-STD.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years prior solder and coating inspection experience.

Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. The role requires comprehension of process instructions, drawings and/or inspection instructions and checklists, and use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.) to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
REQUIREDEDUCATION
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
- Full-Time - 4/10-2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday 03:30pm-02:00am with OT on the weekends.
